On June 8, founder and strategic advisor of the L7 group of companies Igor Belov presented one of the company's newest products — the simulator “Dronobie” — during a live telethon on TV channel “Rada”.
The studio discussed threats from the air that remain a constant danger at the front — including FPV drones and kamikaze drones. As Igor Belov noted, in a constantly changing situation, it is critically important to train fighters to respond effectively to these challenges. One of the fastest and safest ways is simulation systems.
“War changes every day, and we have to change our simulation systems pretty quickly. We started with small arms, today we are developing heavy weapons simulators, and last year — kamikaze drone countermeasures systems,” said Igor Belov.
As part of the broadcast, the audience was shown the training complex “Dronobie” - a simulator that allows the military to practice shooting from a pump gun on FPV drones in a virtual environment that is as close as possible to real combat.
“This is a massive layout that was a real weapon — deactivated and supplemented with electronics. Its movement fully corresponds to the behavior of real ammunition... At the same time, everything is simplified as much as possible, because we know that the fighter needs not to learn how the program works, but to practice certain movements that he will need in battle... The simulator helps to build scenarios for shooting down FPV drones, change weather conditions, simulate the day or night — all this affects the trajectory of the ball and allows you to train as close as possible to real conditions,” explained the founder and strategic advisor of the L7 group of companies.
Already during the broadcast, the simulator was tested in the studio - viewers were able to see how the interface works, as well as evaluate the simplicity and effectiveness of training.
Simulator “Dronobie” is another step in the direction of high-tech training of Ukrainian military. The L7 team continues to develop solutions that allow the Armed Forces to train faster, more efficiently and without risk to life, bringing the Ukrainian army closer to the model of the future.
