The founder of the L7 group of military-tech companies Igorbelov gave an interview to the information agency of the Ministry of Defense of the ArmyInform, in which he told about the CITADEL multimedia system. It is an interactive platform created for training young people in the framework of the subject “Defense of Ukraine” and military training software.
The system provides: individual camp training of shooting techniques; the ability to form various scenarios (moving targets, night conditions, weather factors); complete statistics for the teacher withrecording the accuracy, speed and progress of the student.
The basic equipment of CITADEL includesmodels of the MP pistol, AK-74 assault rifle and rifle, optionally available other video weapons. Igor Belov stressed that CITADEL is not a combat simulation, but a system-educational tool.
“The CITADELE product is based on ourmilitary simulators, but it is developed according to a different logic. If for fighters the main thing is the mastering of various types of weapons for effective performance of the task of the battlefield, then for young people who are still studying, it is still strengthening the resilience of the formation of protective consciousness.”— he said.
According to Igor Belov, Citadel is considered as part of a broader reform of military-patriotic education: it is a tool that should work within the framework of a coordinated system, where the schoolprovides basic skills, institutes of advanced training — methodology, Avian centers — in-depth training. Interactive shooting is designed tosafe, systematic and affordable means of training for a wide range of young people, which gives not only practical skills, but also forms a responsible, protectiveawareness.
